International Day of Electrical Waste

To mark the International Day of Electrical Waste, on the 14th of October, Electrão created an installation composed of small and large used electrical equipment, in the riverside area of Belém, in Lisbon.

The initiative had the purpose to show that electrical waste is a problem when it is not sent for recycling and increasingly appears where it is least expected to pollute the environment.

The installation, which, seen from above, formed the symbol of recycling, alerted to the importance of sending used electrical equipment for recycling and, at the same time, underlined the role and responsibility of each citizen in this action.
