“Electrão – Associação de Gestão de Resíduos” (Waste Management Association) was founded in 2005 by the joint action of 60 of the largest producers of electrical equipment in the Portuguese market.
This Association, which operates under Extended Producer Responsibility and currently manages three types of waste has the mission to ensure the recycling of collected waste , contributing for the minimization of the environmental impact and for the reuse of the materials that constitute them, promoting the circular economy.
